Torque Controlled
We provide the simultaneous screwing and unscrewing service of stud bolts and oil stud bolts, flanges, heads, work reels, valve shafts, among other components, through the application of the controlled hydraulic torque system, for those projects where requires quality, precision and optimization of time.
Probadores Petroleros SA de CV , has controlled hydraulic torque equipment, (hydraulic wrenches) and the necessary accessories for the simultaneous screwing or unscrewing of bolt nuts and oil studs from preventers, flanges, heads, work reels, valve and throttle shafts, for controlled tightening from 150 lb-ft to 10,000 lb-ft, under the api safety standards.
Each Torque team has a set of dice (from 3/4 ”to 3.1 / 2”) that allow to work in extremely small spaces, Hydraulic Stamina Equipment and High Pressure Hoses, as well as sufficient technical personnel, to meet the needs of our clients. Basically each Controlled Hydraulic Torque Equipment is a system that consists of:
- - Hydraulic pump with pneumatic or electrical supply.
- - High Pressure Hoses.
- - Hydraulic wrenches for a torque from 150 to 10,000 lb - ft.
- - Insert Set to cover a range of 3/4 ”up to 3.1 / 2”.
The controlled hydraulic torque equipment can be installed without tools in a very short time.
Hydraulic Pump
(hydraulic power source)
It has a capacity to pump hydraulic oil at a maximum pressure of 10,000 psi, this pressure can be controlled in a range of 1,500 psi up to 10,000 psi with four connectors for simultaneous screwing or unscrewing work of the stud nuts and studs.
Pump Technical Specifications
- - Valve to change the maximum return pressure of 1,800 psi, at the same forward pressure, this valve is accessible from outside the housing.
- - High precision pressure regulator.
- - Four double ports for simultaneous controlled torque application.
- - Remote control for 14 ft in length.
- - Weight not greater than 58 lb.
Hoses
The Hoses, is designed to withstand pressures of up to 10,000 psi, with a safety factor of 4 to 1, which means they could withstand up to 40,000 psi.
Hydraulic Wrenches
The Hydraulic Wrenches convert the oil pressure (psi) of the pump into torque (ft-lb) depending on the model and type of hydraulic wrench will be the conversion factor that can be achieved.
Inserts
The inserts are designed to work in extremely small spaces and withstand all the maximum forces, according to the hydraulic wrench model, also considering a safety factor.
With this controlled hydraulic torque equipment, PROPESA , it reduces the time of screwing and unscrewing the nuts of the studs and oil studs, reducing in turn the risk of any leakage.
